The attribution cookie will last 90 days. This means that from the time someone clicks your referral link to when they subscribe to Pretzel -- they have 90 days for that referral to count towards your account.

There is a “last cookie counts” rule, though. So if a person clicks someone else’s referral link and yours, if yours was the last one they clicked, you would receive the credit for that referral.

It’s a little confusing, we know. But basically: As long as your referral link is the last one they clicked 90 days before they subscribed to Pretzel, you get the credit (and the cash) for that referral!

As long as they have clicked through your link within 90 days of their subscription, you will still be credited for that subscription. (Assuming, though, that they also didn’t clear their cookies in between that time.)

When someone goes through your referral link, they receive a cookie (a little digital data pack) that says “Hey! This person was referred by this specific Pretzel affiliate.” That cookie stays active for 90 days. So as long as the cookie is there, you will receive credit for that subscription. However, if they’ve clicked someone else’s referral link after yours, that other person will receive the credit (this is known as the “last cookie counts” rule). Whatever is the freshest (most recent) cookie associated with that user will be the one to receive credit for that subscription.
